What Is a Partial Hospitalization Program?

A partial hospitalization program or PHP is a type of treatment that provides more structure and support than an outpatient program but is not as intensive as inpatient treatment. In a residential program, clients live at the facility 24 hours a day and receive around-the-clock care. PHP patients, on the other hand, typically participate in treatment multiple days each week and return home during the night. One of the benefits of our partial hospitalization program is that it offers the same treatment options as a residential program but gives patients more flexibility.

Like our other treatment programs, our addiction PHP can vary in length. Some people require 30 days of treatment, while others need 60 days or more. The length of time in treatment depends on a number of factors, including the severity of the addiction, whether the patient has any co-occurring mental health disorders, and whether the patient has been through treatment before.

Each client’s treatment plan is individualized to ensure that they get the care they need to recover. We will develop your treatment plan to specify the length of time you need to attend our treatment program. If you’re looking for a treatment program that allows you to stay home at night and continue to contribute to your family unit, reach out to our partial hospitalization program in Georgia.
